Mexico: Essential Things to Know Before Travelling

Essential things to know before travelling to Mexico. Here is a quick rundown of some of the important things I think are worth noting when travelling to Mexico. We cover water safety in San Cristobal de las Casas, using Mexico's public transport with ADO, hostels exchanging lodging and food for work, exploring places in the mountains like San José del Pacifico. Also, we cover the amazing street food and how to ask for some vegan food in Spanish. All and more via our YouTube channel.

I spent 4 months in Mexico in 2022 and 2023. I didn't have much of a plan when I went. I wanted to suss it out for myself and learn from the experience, which I certainly did. I went as a solo backpacker and travelled through Yucatan, Quintana Roo, Oaxaca, Chiapas, Mexico City, Puebla, San Cristóbal de las Casas, San José del Pacifico, Puerto Escondido, the list goes on. I wanted to make a video to highlight some key things I wish I'd known before travelling to Mexico, as well as give you a quick snippet and overview before you go.

Head over to the link below to watch the video & I hope it helps!
