
Trip Overview
From Rome’s ancient icons to Florence’s Renaissance masterpieces and on to Pisa’s famed Leaning Tower this bespoke journey blends guided visits, hands-on experiences, and great food. Choose to extend south to Naples for pizza-making, Pompeii, Vesuvius, and Herculaneum for a full sweep of Italy’s history and flavour.


Itinerary
Day 1
Arrive in Rome, explore the Colosseum & Roman Forum (self-guided), then evening walk and dinner in Trastevere.
Day 2
Walking tour: Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Spanish Steps; visit Vatican Museums or Borghese Gardens & Galleria; optional opera/concert.
Day 3
Coach to Florence; visit Dante’s House, Uffizi Gallery, stroll the Ponte Vecchio.
Day 4
See Michelangelo’s David at Galleria dell’Accademia; afternoon to Pisa with guided walking tour; return to Florence.
Day 5
Visit Duomo Museum and Cathedral, then Tuscan farm & vineyard experience; drive back to Rome.
Day 6
Depart from Rome.
Optional Extension
Explore the ruins of Pompeii before enjoying lunch and hiking up Mount Vesuvius, followed by dinner. The next day brings free time in Naples, a hands-on pizza-making class, and an afternoon visit to Herculaneum, with an optional evening opera before returning to Rome. On the final day, enjoy breakfast and depart for home.
